Located near Anokhi Museum on Jaipur-Amer road, Panna Meena ka Kund is a historical stepwell and rainwater catchment. Constructed during the sixteenth century, the Kund is famous for its symmetrical stairs.
This Kund is not very popular amongst tourists. The Kund, located near Amer Fort, is toured by a very small number of visitors. It is beautifully designed for architecture and technology.
It is believed by the native residents that a traveler won’t take similar stairs to go down or up.
There is a picture-perfect view with eight stories staircase pool and limestone of 850 steps in the Kund. Stairs are made in an exceedingly zigzag geometric pattern and its viewer has been astonished by its distinctive structure.
A breathtaking view of the Amer Fort can be witnessed from here. Throughout the monsoon season, the air has a unique charm and offers mesmerizing memories to share.
